Here at SPG we undertake all work with our customer casings.

Design

A key department in our process is the in house design facility.  Utilising the latest CAD technology we are able to complement every project with customer or site specific product and components. Working with the customer on a direct basis we are able to assist with new concepts utilising either new or existing store equipment.

Test Facilities

Our test facility has been designed and built to ensure all products are engineered to perform within recognised industry standards and to meet food hygiene legislation as required by all of our customers on the most innovative designs.

The chamber has been built using the latest state of the art technology in both control and monitoring equipment, in line with the latest EN and BSI regulations.

The conditions within the chamber can be changed to accommodate most ISO Conditions, however, the majority of our clients require testing to be carried out to ISO Class3 i.e. 25°C and 60%RH.  The constant Laminar airflow of 0.1m/s to 0.2m/s is easily achieved by using an inverter on the main drive motor and the distribution of the air through curtained plenum chambers.  Should the client require a higher airflow speed (cross aisle draught) as most of our clients do, then again, this is easily carried out without major modifications.

 


 

Spares

Its a fact of supermarket life that no matter how good your refrigerated display cabinets, the attrition of intensive store traffic can render display fixtures unsightly or unsafe long before the cabinet necessarily needs replacing. Consequently leading supermarkets have recognised the expertise of SPG as a major supplier in the sourcing of spare parts for their cabinets

We Install Refrigerated Display Cabinets throughout the UK

All members of our installation team our fully health and safety trained and holders of CSCS Cards.

We are members of the safe contractors scheme and pride ourself in the quality of our workmanship and safety levels.
